The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berbick throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
James just misses with a punch to the body.

James looks to land a combination but Berbick avoids it well.
James falls off balance throwing a combination
and Berbick counters with a straight right hand.

Berbick throws a left and a right that both miss
and James counters with a three punch combo that has Berbick backing up. Berbick nods at James to acknowledge the strikes.
Berbick throws a right hand that James ducks under and follows up with a left that James also avoids with ease.
James dodges the punch combination from Berbick.

and James counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A looping hook to the body misses from James. Berbick does a little dance to reset his feet.

James stuns Berbick with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

James shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than James was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
