The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nash closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lamont is looking for a sweep. Nash is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Lamont wants to get back to full guard but Nash has passed into side control.
Lamont swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Nash postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lamont looks a forlorn figure.

It looks like Georges Lamont has been cut.
Lamont is trying to escape the mount.
Lamont is working hard here to advance position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lamont looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
The referee is taking a good look at Lamont as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Nash!
Oooh a big shot gets through from Nash. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
You can see the frustration on Lamont's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Can Lamont hold on?! Nash is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Nash has his arm under Lamont's chin here. Game over son! Nash squeezes tightly and Lamont is forced to tap out!
