Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Robinson's waist but Robinson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stone off to one side. No luck for Robinson with that takedown attempt. Jack Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Robinson shoots in and gets a takedown into Stone's guard. Robinson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Robinson rushes Stone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Robinson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Robinson misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Stone.
Robinson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Stone prevents it.
Robinson gets control of Stone's arms and successfully pulls guard. Robinson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Robinson wants to get back to his feet but Stone is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Stone thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Stone controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Stone is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone trying to control but Robinson is working from the bottom. Stone thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Stone passes Robinson's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Robinson has hold of Stone's hands but Stone slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Stone is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Robinson wants to improve his position but Stone is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone is working for a guillotine from mount but Robinson frees his head quite easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stone is breathing heavily. Robinson wants to hold on but Stone pushes him away. Stone mounts Robinson! Really nice guard pass there! Robinson looks out of his depth in this position - he's holding on tight. Robinson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Robinson is on top in guard.
Robinson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Stone dives on top into guard. Stone drops back, looking for a kneebar! Robinson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Robinson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Robinson! Stone isn't going anywhere.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Robinson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Robinson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Robinson tries to move to full mount but Stone actually manages to regain half guard. Stone is holding on to half guard well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jack Stone will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Stone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Stone is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Stone's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Robinson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Stone looking to sit in guard and control but Robinson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Stone wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Jack Stone has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. No luck for Robinson with that takedown attempt. Robinson shoots in for a takedown but Stone shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Robinson throws a sloppy head kick and Stone moves out of range easily. Robinson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stone to score an easy takedown into full guard. Robinson is breathing heavily. Robinson looking for a sweep. Not yet Robinson, not yet. Robinson keeping moving, preventing Stone from controlling successfully. Robinson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Stone drops back looking for a leg! Robinson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Robinson manages to kick Stone off! Stone jumps back into Robinson's guard. Stone trying to control the position from guard on top but Robinson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Stone is pushing down on Robinson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Robinson is fighting to maintain full guard but Stone has managed to sneak the leg through. Stone looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Robinson is looking for a sweep. Stone is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Stone is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Robinson is just riding it out for now. Stone eventually gives up the hold. Stone is trying to control the action in half guard but Robinson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone controlling the action here. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Robinson trying to hold on to Stone's head to control him but Stone postures up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Stone misses with a takedown so Robinson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Robinson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stone is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Robinson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Robinson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Robinson trying to control but Stone is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Stone dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Stone tries to keep at a distance but Robinson has taken the fight into the clinch. Robinson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stone walks away with a smile on his face. Robinson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Robinson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stone did well to prevent Robinson getting side control. The fighters are battling for position here. Stone manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Stone is adopting a defensive guard. Robinson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Robinson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stone is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Robinson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Robinson wants to stand but Stone is controlling the position. Stone drops back looking for a leg! Robinson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Robinson manages to kick Stone off! Stone jumps back into Robinson's guard. Robinson keeping moving, preventing Stone from controlling successfully. Robinson is trying to control the position but Stone postures up. Stone throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Stone postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Robinson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Stone, into his guard. Robinson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stone swivels though and keeps the full guard. Robinson throwing strikes but missing. Robinson wants to stand and escape but instead Stone has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone wants to control from the top but Robinson keeps moving. Stone tries to free his leg and advance position but Robinson is retaining full guard. Jack Stone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Robinson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Stone stays in close to Robinson's body and controls the position. Robinson trying to keep a closed guard but Stone is proving a slippery customer.
Stone controls from within his opponent's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jack Stone wasn't doing enough on the ground. A momentary lapse in concentration from Robinson enables Stone to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Robinson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Robinson is wriggling around but Stone manages to pass to half guard.
Stone takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Robinson trying to control but Stone postures up.
Stone is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Robinson pushes Stone off looking to stand but Stone dives back in and keeps control.
Stone performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Stone showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stone, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
