Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Susumu Rocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and miguel cotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying cotto's choice of entrance music: meek. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocha shoots for a takedown but cotto saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
cotto closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - cotto lands in his opponent's guard.
Rocha keeping moving, preventing cotto from controlling successfully.
Rocha working a defensive guard here.
cotto stands up from Rocha's guard - cotto perhaps looking for a knockout.
cotto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rocha shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and cotto counters with a takedown into side control.

cotto decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rocha to his feet.
Rocha takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
cotto tries to clinch there but Rocha circles away.
Rocha gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows cotto to score an easy takedown into full guard.
cotto wants to control from the top but Rocha keeps moving.
cotto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rocha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rocha not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Rocha is really struggling to control cotto but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
cotto is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Rocha has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. cotto is looking to defend but Rocha has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for cotto! Rocha pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, cotto taps out and this one is all over!
