Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Blank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Peck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matt Peck!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peck defending well as Blank loads up on a big left hand.
Blank throws a hook but Peck blocks it.
Peck tries to close the distance and clinch but Blank swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Blank throws a right and a left that Peck avoids nicely.
Blank displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Peck throws out the jab.
Peck fails with an attempt to clinch.
A swing and a miss from Peck.
Blank misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Blank misses with a wild body shot.
Peck closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Blank! Peck dives in looking to finish! Blank is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Peck!
