Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marco da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hendo Ferra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). da Silva comes to the cage accompanied by It's a Fight. Hendo Ferra is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferra shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as da Silva sprawls well. da Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ferra gets slowly back to his feet.

Ferra is trying desperately to land a takedown but da Silva is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Ferra.

Ferra needs to keep his hands up - da Silva had a free shot at his head there.
Ferra with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling da Silva to score with a decent uppercut.

Ferra ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
da Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ferra shoots for a takedown but da Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ferra shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. da Silva is trying to defend but Ferra finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Ferra is pressing down on da Silva's thigh, looking to free his foot. da Silva is holding on for now.
