Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Munter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butch Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butch Reed told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gary Munter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Butch Reed! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed misses with a two punch combination.
Reed throws a right and a left that Munter avoids nicely. Reed defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Munter. Reed tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Munter paws at him with a jab and circles away. Munter shoots in for a double leg but Reed sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Reed doesn't succeed with the takedown and Munter counters with a nice double leg into guard. Reed keeping moving, preventing Munter from controlling successfully. Munter gets to his feet - Reed follows without any prompting. Munter takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Reed shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Munter as he jumps to the side. Munter throws a shot from downtown. Reed moves away and avoids it. Munter on the wrong end of a nice jab. Reed tries for a takedown but Munter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Gary Munter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Butch Reed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Munter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Munter wants it to stay on the feet. Munter throws a right and a left that both miss. Munter blocks a head kick by Reed.
Reed gets the takedown into side control. Reed wants to control but Munter is keeping him busy. Munter gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Reed thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Munter is working to get back to half guard.
Munter is working hard here to advance position. Reed jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Munter manages to avoid the submission attempt. Reed looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Munter dodges the ground and pound from Reed. Munter manages to work his way to half guard, despite Reed's best efforts. Reed wants to take a breather but Munter is having none of it. Reed is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Munter keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Reed seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Munter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Munter trying to hold on to Reed's head to control him but Reed postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Munter is pressing down on Reed's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Reed wants to control from the top but Munter keeps moving. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Munter striking off his back but it's not causing Reed any problems. Reed pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Munter is keeping the position for now. Reed being controlled here momentarily.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Butch Reed hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Reed with a lazy takedown attempt and Munter counters with a nice double leg into guard. Munter trying to control but Reed is working from the bottom. Munter slips nicely into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Munter is looking for a kimura but Reed is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Munter to get the leverage. Munter is looking to stall here but Reed recovers full guard. Reed trying to keep a closed guard but Munter is proving a slippery customer.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Munter trying to control the position from guard on top but Reed is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gary Munter dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Reed misses with a takedown and Munter counters with a nice double leg into side control. Reed won't be happy with that. Munter laying and praying for a moment but Reed takes advantage and regains half guard. Reed is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Reed has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Munter is working away from the top position though. Reed is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Munter's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Munter's back! Reed is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Munter manages to reverse the position and now he's in Reed's guard. Nice work there by Munter.
Reed keeping moving, preventing Munter from controlling successfully. Munter tries to free his leg and advance position but Reed is retaining full guard. Reed controls Munter momentarily but Munter frees himself. Munter trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Reed manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Reed decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Reed. Munter tries to land a front kick but Reed steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Munter wants to clinch and Reed counters with a nice double leg into guard. Reed missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Reed working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Reed stops Munter from standing up. Reed chips away with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed won't allow Munter to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Munter is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Reed is aware though and is defending well. Reed postures up in Munter's guard and throws a big left but Munter blocks it. Reed decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Munter, up you get! Munter gets caught flat footed, as Reed shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Reed gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. A punch combination from Reed misses. Reed tries to bum rush Munter with a series of wild strikes but Munter uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Reed shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Munter's guard. Reed trying to control the position from guard on top but Munter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reed looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Munter is trying to control the position but Reed postures up. Reed trying to control but Munter is working from the bottom. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Munter manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Reed manages to get himself to full guard.

Reed with a lazy takedown attempt and Munter counters with a shoot takedown. Reed fights it but they end up in guard. Reed is trying to keep Munter in close.
Munter controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Munter trying to control but Reed is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reed is adopting a defensive guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Munter shoots in and bounces Reed off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Munter wants to stand and escape but instead Reed has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Reed trying to control but Munter is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reed postures up in Munter's guard and throws a big left but Munter blocks it. Munter controls Reed momentarily but Reed frees himself. Munter keeping full guard, as Reed tries to pass. Munter working for a triangle but Reed defends it easily.
Reed missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed is in close to Munter's body, working some short punches and elbows. Munter looking for a sweep. Not yet Munter, not yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reed trying to control but Munter is working from the bottom. Munter avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Reed passes easily into side control. Nice work. Reed throws an elbow but Munter slips to the side and avoids it well. Munter is looking to regain half guard here but Reed keeps moving and retains side control. Reed is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Munter will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Reed thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Munter sneaks back into half guard. Ground and pound from Reed. Gary Munter overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Munter tries to roll over but Reed keeps him under control. Reed thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Munter's head. Munter is looking to improve his position.
And that's the end of the fight! Gary Munter showed his dominance in that final round. I think Munter has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
