Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Davola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnus Voltron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Voltron has chosen Get to the Choppa as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Magnus Voltron!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davola changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Voltron tries to avoid it but Davola manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Voltron to the ground. Voltron escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Davola fails to land the takedown.
Voltron gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Davola counters with a single leg into guard. Voltron didn't expect that.
Davola throws a big right hand that misses.
Davola in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Voltron preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Voltron utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Davola working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Voltron looks gassed!
Davola postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Davola loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Davola throws and elbow that misses. Voltron uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Davola's guard. Nice move by Voltron!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Voltron stops Davola from standing up.
Davola wriggles free and stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Davola shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Voltron is trying to defend but Davola finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Davola scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Davola winds up and cracks Voltron with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Voltron on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Voltron is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davola is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Voltron is hurt! He's hurt bad - Davola fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Voltron from any more punishment! Congratulations to Davola! Great finish!
