Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trainer Wrestle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Channon Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Channon Storm will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Trainer Wrestle!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Channon Storm!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm thows a body shot but no joy.
Storm slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Wrestle wants to clinch.
Storm misses with a looping left.

Storm lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Wrestle backs up against the cage.
Wrestle ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Storm throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wrestle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Wrestle rushes Storm and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Wrestle.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Wrestle tries for a takedown but Storm sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Storm uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Wrestle has time to react.

Wrestle feints and as Storm raises his hands in defense, Wrestle changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Storm can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You can see the frustration on Storm's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Channon Storm hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
