Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Qwasnatmetaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blaine Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Qwasnatmetaker comes into the arena with Prodigy - Smack my bitch up blaring out of the sound system. Douglas Qwasnatmetaker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Douglas Qwasnatmetaker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Blaine Stone! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Qwasnatmetaker. Stone walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Stone throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Qwasnatmetaker was covering up waiting for the punch and Stone finishes the takedown easily into guard. Stone scoring with some ground and pound. Stone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Qwasnatmetaker is keeping the position for now. Stone throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Qwasnatmetaker controls Stone momentarily but Stone frees himself. Stone missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone thows a big elbow that misses. Stone wants to control from the top but Qwasnatmetaker keeps moving. Stone postures up in Qwasnatmetaker's guard and throws a big left but Qwasnatmetaker blocks it. Stone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Qwasnatmetaker swivels though and keeps the full guard. Qwasnatmetaker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Qwasnatmetaker being controlled here, momentarily. Qwasnatmetaker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Qwasnatmetaker tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Stone postures up in Qwasnatmetaker's guard and throws a big left but Qwasnatmetaker blocks it. Stone wants to control from the top but Qwasnatmetaker keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stone accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Qwasnatmetaker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Stone trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Qwasnatmetaker preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Qwasnatmetaker keeping full guard, as Stone tries to pass. Stone chips away with some ground and pound. Stone has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Stone drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Qwasnatmetaker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Stone has Qwasnatmetaker in his guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stone looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Qwasnatmetaker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stone on the ground. Qwasnatmetaker slips nicely into half guard. Stone is looking for a sweep. Qwasnatmetaker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Stone trying to hold on to Qwasnatmetaker's head to control him but Qwasnatmetaker postures up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Qwasnatmetaker wants to control but Stone is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Blaine Stone dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stone walks into a left hand. Qwasnatmetaker slaps away a takedown attempt from Stone, before circling back to the center of the mat. Qwasnatmetaker throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Qwasnatmetaker throws a shot from downtown. Stone moves away and avoids it. Douglas Qwasnatmetaker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A slapping leg kick lands for Qwasnatmetaker.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Qwasnatmetaker, right into the meat.
No luck for Stone with that takedown attempt. Qwasnatmetaker lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Qwasnatmetaker just misses with a punch to the body.
Stone doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A cross from Qwasnatmetaker lands. Qwasnatmetaker is looking to slow Stone down with leg kicks. Stone is breathing heavily. Qwasnatmetaker looks to land a combination but Stone avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Qwasnatmetaker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stone closes the distance and clinches up with Qwasnatmetaker, looking for a takedown. Stone pushes Qwasnatmetaker against the cage but Qwasnatmetaker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Douglas Qwasnatmetaker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blaine Stone. Qwasnatmetaker feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stone's calf. Qwasnatmetaker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Qwasnatmetaker works Stone's body with a nice hook. A left lands for Qwasnatmetaker. Qwasnatmetaker looks to land a combination but Stone avoids it well. Qwasnatmetaker cracks the inside of Stone's front leg. Qwasnatmetaker cracks Stone with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Qwasnatmetaker with a body punch. A glancing blow. Stone takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stone takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Douglas Qwasnatmetaker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stone takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
That kick from Qwasnatmetaker tenderised Stone's leg. Stone is trying to keep his angry face on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Qwasnatmetaker digs a good hook to Stone's body.
Stone on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Stone takes one to the chin there. Stone walks into a jab. Qwasnatmetaker throws a body punch but Stone moves out of range. Stone's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Qwasnatmetaker connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Stone is rocked! Qwasnatmetaker drops Stone with a big left hand! Stone is injured, injured bad! Qwasnatmetaker jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
