Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mondial Dos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mondial Dos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shane Williams! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Williams. Dos does a little dance to reset his feet. Williams tries to sprawl but Dos drives through with a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dos wants to work for an arm triangle but Williams is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dos prevents Williams from standing back up.
Williams trying to control from the bottom.
Dos looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dos content to control rather than advance. Williams is trying to control but can't.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dos rushes Williams and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Williams tries a body shot but Dos blocks it.
Dos changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Williams fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Williams misses with the combination.
Williams gets a clinch. Williams gets underhooks to prevent Dos's takedown attempt.
Dos with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Dos keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Williams's efforts to push away. Dos digs a right hand into Williams's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Williams's gas tank. Dos lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Williams is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Williams breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Dos tries to close the distance and clinch but Williams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dos tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dos uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Williams. Dos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Williams swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mondial Dos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dos swats away the attempt to clinch by Williams. Williams wants to clinch up but Dos keeps it at a distance. Williams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Williams looks to score with a jab to the body but Dos is just out of range. Williams looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dos plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Dos shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Williams manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Williams wriggles free and stands up. Dos clinches with his opponent.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mondial Dos. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Williams is trying to break free. Williams lands a body shot. Dos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Williams walks away with a smile on his face. Dos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Williams connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Williams misses with a straight right. No luck for Dos with that takedown attempt. Dos takes one on the button. Williams gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dos to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dos drops back, looking for a kneebar! Williams looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Williams looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Williams! Williams wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dos keeps working. Dos manages to get back to half guard. Dos is looking to control Williams's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dos avoid being mounted? Dos manages to get to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams is looking to stand up but Dos won't let him. Dos not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Williams is fighting to break Dos's control of his arms but Dos is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Dos's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mondial Dos. Dos tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Williams manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Dos shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Williams as he avoids it easily. Dos comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Dos lands a head kick. Williams smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Williams throws a lazy right hand but Dos sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Dos darts in and clinches Williams up against the cage. Dos wants a takedown but no success here.
Dos gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Williams tries to break the clinch but Dos is controlling the position. Williams is trying to break free. Dos turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Dos manages to end up in side control. Williams wants to control but Dos postures up. Williams taking a bit of punishment here - Dos scoring with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mondial Dos dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Williams misses with a takedown and Dos counters with a nice uppercut. Dos closes the distance and pushes Williams back into the cage. Dos drops down looking for an ankle pick but Williams pulls his leg out and moves away.

Dos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Williams swats him away and circles back towards the center. Williams throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Dos counters with a nice body shot. Mondial Dos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dos lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Williams backs up against the cage.
Dos looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Dos is working for a kimura but Williams is defending it quite comfortably.
Williams is looking to escape. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Williams has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dos is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dos trying to control the action but Williams is working from the bottom. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dos in particular looking to stall. Dos uses his free foot to push down on Williams's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Williams. Dos works his way to his opponent's back.
Dos looking to break Williams's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Williams remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Dos will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Can Williams hold on?! Dos is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Williams rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Williams is breathing heavily. Dos tries to pass to full mount but Williams defends it. Dos stops Williams from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Williams keeps working. Dos passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Williams! Dos looking to control and managing it successfully. Williams is trying to stand up. Dos trying to control but he's not successful this time. Williams tries to improve his position but instead Dos has taken his back! Williams trying to control the hands but Dos won't let him. Williams defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Dos's arms.

Dos looking for the choke from the back. Dos looking for the RNC. Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dos goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Williams escapes and is now in half guard on top. Dos is trying to maintain the position but Williams is very close to passing his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams wants to take a breather but Dos is having none of it. Dos controlling the position for now. Williams trying to control from half guard but Dos is working away. Dos gets back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dos closes the distance and clinches. Dos fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Dos ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dos no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Williams must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dos is pulling down on Williams's head. It's preventing any offense from Williams, at least for the moment. Williams trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dos's guard. Dos is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Williams got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dos has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Williams has managed to get both his arms back between Dos's legs - danger averted. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Williams would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Dos controlling Williams's posture.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dos lands a nice leg kick that just misses Williams's sensitive parts. Dos pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dos shoots in and bounces Williams off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Dos trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom. Williams trying to control the position.
Dos working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Mondial Dos is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Williams pulls Dos in to control the position. Dos throwing strikes but missing. Dos trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom.

Shane Williams has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. A slow jab from Williams misses its intended target. Williams tries to clinch but Dos is having none of it. Williams leaves Dos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Dos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Williams pinned against the cage. Williams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mondial Dos. That's going to take a lot out of him. Decent striking displayed by Dos there. Dos tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Williams counters with a left to the body. Williams throws a one two combo.
Dos fails with a takedown attempt. Williams lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Dos shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Williams connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Dos throws a wild body kick that Williams sees coming a mile off. Dos looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Williams is fending him off so far but Dos persists. Nope, Williams circles away and we're back to standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dos changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Williams looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Williams gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Dos is thwarting Williams's attempts to control the position. Dos controlling the action here. Shane Williams has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Williams is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dos's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dos's back! Dos rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Williams is pressing down on Dos's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dos is holding on for now. Dos blocking the ground and pound attempt from Williams.
And that's the end of the fight! Mondial Dos showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dos has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
