Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Fred Boyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Karl Belin!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boyle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Boyle wants to control from the top but Belin keeps moving.
Boyle preventing the sweep.
Belin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Boyle wants to control but Belin is having none of it.
Boyle is looking to improve his position but Belin isn't that keen on the idea.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Boyle wants to hold on but Belin pushes him away.
Boyle is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Boyle is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Belin is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Belin throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Boyle because Belin loaded up on that one.
Boyle can't escape the position.

Boyle wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Belin.

Belin working for a submission but Boyle is keeping him at bay.
Boyle working to try and regain half guard.
Belin working the ground and pound effectively.
Boyle is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Belin goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Boyle is on top in guard.
Boyle slips nicely into half guard.

Boyle is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Belin has managed to free his arm - good work.

Boyle is looking for a kimura here.
Belin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Boyle is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Belin to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
Boyle trying to control the position from guard on top but Belin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Boyle postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Belin is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Boyle, into his guard.

Boyle looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Belin wants to pass the guard but Boyle is keeping the position.
Belin wants to control from the top but Boyle keeps moving.

Belin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Boyle is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Belin, into his guard.

Boyle in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Karl Belin dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Belin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The fighters circling - Belin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Belin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Boyle.

Belin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Belin looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Belin is looking to take a break and control but Boyle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Boyle manages to get back to half guard.

Boyle looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Belin is trying to control. Boyle wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Boyle is in trouble now - Belin has advanced to mount!
Boyle sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boyle moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Belin trying to control but Boyle is working from the bottom.

Boyle has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Belin should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Boyle has tightened it up now! Belin should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
