Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Travis Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Travis Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tyler Durden!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden throws a series of punches but Black moves out of range.

Black is trying hard to land a takedown here. Durden sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Durden pushes Black away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Black gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Black is just content to waste time from the top position. Durden takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Durden enables Black to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Durden manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Black closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Black lands in his opponent's guard.

Black decides to stand back up. Black steps back and let's Durden get back to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Black avoids a punch combination nicely.
Durden will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Black shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Durden but Durden pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Durden gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Black to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Black shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Durden's guard.

Black thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Durden is working an open guard so Black takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Black drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Durden manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Black has Durden in his guard.

Black is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Durden is aware though and is defending well.
Black wants to sweep here but Durden controlling him for the moment.

Black wants to improve his position but instead Durden has moved into half guard.

Durden decides to stand up.
Durden misses with the combination.

Black shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Black is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Durden has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Durden!

Travis Black is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Durden got a little sloppy there for a moment and Black has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Durden has managed to get both his arms back between Black's legs - danger averted.
Black looking to hit a scissor sweep but Durden is one step ahead there.

And that's the end of the fight!
Travis Black showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Black has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
