Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Gardner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Papa Domingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Luke Gardner has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Luke Gardner seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gardner misses with a wild combination.

Domingo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gardner did well to prevent Domingo getting side control.
Gardner is trying to control but can't.
Domingo passes to side control.
Domingo trying to control the action but Gardner is working from the bottom.
Gardner is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Domingo's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Domingo thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Gardner to regain full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Luke Gardner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Domingo shoots in but no luck this time.
Gardner stuffs the takedown attempt from Domingo. Domingo gets slowly back to his feet.

Domingo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gardner was covering up waiting for the punch and Domingo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Gardner looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Domingo puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Gardner holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Domingo wants to take a breather but Gardner is having none of it.
Gardner is trying to get back to full guard.

Papa Domingo dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Domingo has a takedown stuffed.
Gardner throws a right hand that Domingo ducks under and follows up with a left that Domingo also avoids with ease.
Gardner keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Domingo shoots in but Gardner avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Domingo takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Domingo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gardner tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Domingo is in Gardner's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gardner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Domingo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Domingo is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Gardner looking to sit in guard and control but Domingo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Domingo trying to control but Gardner is working from the bottom.

Gardner working a defensive guard but Domingo manages to pass into side control anyway.
Domingo trying to control the position but Gardner is working away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Domingo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gardner is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Domingo shoots in but Gardner avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Domingo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gardner lands a nice leg kick that just misses Domingo's sensitive parts.
Horrible takedown by Domingo or perhaps it was just good defense by Gardner which made him look bad.

Gardner throws a head kick that half lands.

Domingo gets the takedown into side control.
Domingo creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gardner sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Domingo taking a break here but Gardner is having none of it and regains half guard.
Gardner is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Domingo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Domingo's back!

Gardner has good solid back control here.
Domingo manages to escape to a better position under a series of strikes. Gardner is now in side control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Domingo sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gardner is looking to advance position but Domingo won't allow it.

Domingo tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Gardner has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
