Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Moore's choice of entrance music: Funeral Thirst. Billy Moore has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Douglas Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Moore! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore shoots for a double leg takedown but Brown sprawls well. He's pushed Moore's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A momentary lapse in concentration from Moore enables Brown to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Moore manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Brown looking to sit in guard and control but Moore gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Brown trying to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Brown has his foot on Moore's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moore works his way back into a safe position though. Brown being controlled here, momentarily. Moore's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Brown had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Moore defends it easily. Moore sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Billy Moore has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Moore feints and as Brown raises his hands in defense, Moore changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Brown had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Moore defends it easily. Brown is breathing heavily. Moore controlling from the top position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Moore pushing down on Brown's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Moore keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Let's hope that Moore has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Billy Moore. Moore moves into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Brown gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Moore perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Moore is keen to just control but Brown is a slippery customer.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Billy Moore hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Brown fails with the takedown and Moore counters with a shoot takedown. Brown fights it but they end up in guard. Moore controls from within his opponent's guard. Brown isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Moore stacks Brown on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Moore! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore looks up at the clock and then as Brown takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Moore smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Moore controlling from side mount. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Moore in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. A lull in the action here. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Moore working the ground and pound from side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A lull in the action here as Moore stalls from top position. Brown is not content to let Moore control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Moore closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Moore lands in his opponent's guard. Moore showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Moore pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brown is keeping the position for now. Moore trying to control the position from guard on top but Brown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Moore tries to free his leg and advance position but Brown is retaining full guard. Moore sitting in guard, not really doing much. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Moore wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Billy Moore. Brown misses with a takedown attempt and Moore decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Brown's guard. Moore trying to control but Brown is working from the bottom. Brown can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Moore controls the pace. Brown has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moore can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Moore tries to free his leg and advance position but Brown is retaining full guard. Moore avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Moore makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Moore is working Brown over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Brown trying to keep a closed guard but Moore is proving a slippery customer.
Moore is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Moore chips away with some ground and pound.

Billy Moore showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Brown's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Moore seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Moore trying to control the position from guard on top but Brown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Moore is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Moore preventing the sweep. Billy Moore is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Brown thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Douglas Brown has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Moore seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Billy Moore comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Moore winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
