Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Escobedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axe Murderer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Escobedo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to EL PECADOR. Axe Murderer will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murderer throws a sloppy head kick and Escobedo moves out of range easily.
Escobedo tries a head kick but it misses.
Escobedo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Escobedo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Murderer is keeping the position for now.
Escobedo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Escobedo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Murderer's guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Murderer enables Escobedo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Murderer manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
