Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey Lui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christophe Duggary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Duggary's choice of entrance music: Tool - Forty Six & 2 . I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duggary scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ground and pound from Duggary seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Lui wants to control but Duggary postures up.

Duggary swings around for an armbar but Lui sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Duggary's guard.

Duggary had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lui is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Duggary Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lui's back instead.

Duggary working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lui doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lui manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Lui is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Duggary has his foot on Lui's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lui works his way back into a safe position though.

Lui is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Duggary gets his way!

Duggary has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Lui has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Lui dances in with a quick combination. Duggary is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Lui snaps Duggary's head back. Duggary stumbles backwards against the cage. Lui steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Duggary's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Duggary just didn't come prepared.
