The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynxx takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lynxx.
Nelson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lynxx.
A head kick misses from Lynxx.
Lynxx takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nelson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lynxx misses with an uppercut. Nelson saw that one coming.
Lynxx takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The fighters circling - Nelson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lynxx uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nelson.
Lynxx tries a head kick but it misses.
Nelson throws a hook but Lynxx avoids it easily.
Nelson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A shot to the body from Nelson misses
and Lynxx connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nelson feints and then cracks Lynxx's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lynxx down.

The fight stays on the outside here - Lynxx looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lynxx is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nelson ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Lynxx's jaw. Lynxx's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Nelson does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ted Nelson!
