Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Holliday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holliday misses with an uppercut. Burns saw that one coming. Burns drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Burns looks up at the clock and then as Holliday takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Burns smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Burns works to advance to full mount. Holliday defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Burns is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Burns!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Carl Burns!
