Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kari Tapio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Mallon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tapio comes to the cage accompanied by Cannibal Corpse. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kari Tapio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Danny Mallon!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mallon lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Kari Tapio has been cut.
Mallon throws a series of punches but Tapio moves out of range.
Mallon connects with a looping right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Decent striking displayed by Mallon there.
Tapio avoids the body shot from Mallon.
Tapio shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mallon's guard.
Tapio distracts Mallon with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Tapio trying to control but Mallon is working from the bottom.
Mallon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tapio controls the pace.
Mallon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tapio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tapio won't allow Mallon to get back to his feet.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Tapio is stalling in the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kari Tapio.
Mallon lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Tapio shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Poor strikes thrown by Tapio there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Mallon is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Mallon has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tapio is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tapio has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Tapio really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Mallon.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mallon turns into Tapio and is now in his guard.
Mallon wants to control from the top but Tapio keeps moving.
Tapio is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Mallon frees his head nicely. Oh but Tapio has switched to an armbar! Mallon is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
