Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vasily Chapaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sly Striker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Striker. No joy for Chapaev on that attempt.
Chapaev swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Chapaev tries to close the distance and clinch but Striker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chapaev looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Striker is fending him off so far but Chapaev persists. Nope, Striker circles away and we're back to standing.

Chapaev shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Striker's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chapaev postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Striker is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Chapaev, into his guard.
Chapaev is breathing heavily.

Chapaev is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Striker slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Striker won't allow Chapaev to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Striker is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Chapaev working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Striker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Striker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Striker trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Striker thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chapaev's head.

Chapaev kicks Striker off and gets to his feet.

Chapaev drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Striker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Chapaev has Striker in his guard.

Striker stands up and beckons Chapaev to join him on the feet.

Striker is looking to take a break and control but Chapaev is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Chapaev is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Striker's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Striker's back!
Striker covers up after that shot from Chapaev.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That was a close round but I would say that Vasily Chapaev will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Chapaev doesn't manage to clinch there - Striker circles away.
Striker will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Striker shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chapaev pinned against the cage. Chapaev gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Chapaev gets caught flat footed, as Striker shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Chapaev wants to stand up but Striker is controlling him.

Striker decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Chapaev, up you get!

and Striker counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Striker throws a right hand that Chapaev ducks under and follows up with a left that Chapaev also avoids with ease.
Striker is breathing heavily.
Striker circles away from the clinch attempt

and Striker counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Striker.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chapaev can't break the clinch.
Striker is pressed up against the cage. Chapaev has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Striker down to the mat. Striker avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
A nice inside leg kick there by Striker. That's going to slow Chapaev down.
Chapaev lands a hook that stumbles Striker back into the cage. Chapaev follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Striker to the canvas! Chapaev pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Striker has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
