Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miguel Hernandez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matt Murdock! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murdock tries to clinch up but Hernandez circles away and keeps his distance. Murdock walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hernandez checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Murdock throws the left hand but Hernandez avoids the punch easily. Hernandez shoots in but no luck this time. Murdock throws the left hand but Hernandez avoids the punch easily. Murdock lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Hernandez moves away from the strike by Murdock. Murdock throws a leg kick that misses. Hernandez circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Murdock misses with a low kick.

Murdock moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A short left from Murdock. Murdock lands with a short head shot on the inside. Hernandez is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Murdock pulls him back up using the underhooks. Hernandez tries for a takedown but Murdock manages to get underhooks.

Murdock lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hernandez backwards. Murdock lands with a short head shot on the inside. Murdock lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hernandez backwards. Hernandez is rocked! Murdock creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Hernandez with a big uppercut! Hernandez tries to clinch up but Murdock pushes him back against the cage and lands another moster strike that crumples Hernandez to the mat! Hernandez covers up and Murdock unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Matt Murdock!
