Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Gian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Warren Wesley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gian moves in looking to clinch but Wesley pushes him off.
Gian is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Wesley instigates a clinch.

Gian pulls Wesley into guard.
Wesley looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Gian has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Wesley has passed into side control.
Wesley wants to control but Gian is keeping him busy.
Wesley throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Gian tries to buck Wesley off but Wesley is having none of it.

Gian wants to control but Wesley postures up.
Wesley is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Gian will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Gian tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wesley wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Gian knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wesley on the ground.
Gian can't do much from the bottom here.
Gian is looking to reverse the position.
Wesley passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Gian!
Wesley can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gian is looking to escape.
Wesley thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Wesley takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Wesley jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Gian manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Gian tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Wesley presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Gian is trying to reverse the position but instead Wesley has taken his back - oops!

Wesley is persistently looking for the submission but Gian is defending it well.
