The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williamson thows a body shot but no joy.
LaCrosse slips under a jab.
Williamson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
LaCrosse swings away with a leg kick that misses.
LaCrosse lands a body shot.
Williamson lands a right hook to the body.
Williamson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Williamson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
LaCrosse tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Williamson was well out of range. Poor timing from LaCrosse.
LaCrosse closes the distance and clinches up with Williamson, looking for a takedown. LaCrosse pushes Williamson against the cage but Williamson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
LaCrosse scores with a leg kick.
Williamson misses with a looping left.
Williamson throws a looping overhand right but LaCrosse ducks down to avoid it.
Williamson misses with a body punch
and LaCrosse connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
LaCrosse scores with the left hand. Williamson knows he should have avoided that one.
Williamson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
LaCrosse lands a high kick!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
LaCrosse shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than LaCrosse was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
LaCrosse lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Williamson hang on?

LaCrosse blocks Williamson's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
LaCrosse has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
LaCrosse is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by LaCrosse!
