The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazimir shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vanvorst but Vanvorst pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Vanvorst throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vanvorst throws a sloppy head kick and Kazimir moves out of range easily.
Vanvorst scoring well with a low kick there.
Kazimir drops his hands momentarily and Vanvorst takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Vanvorst scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kazimir shoots in looking for a takedown. Vanvorst tries to sprawl out of it but Kazimir keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vanvorst manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kazimir is looking to clinch but Vanvorst is avoiding it.
Kazimir on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Vanvorst. Vanvorst obviously looking to wear him down.
Vanvorst dips to his left and cracks Kazimir with an uppercut!
Kazimir fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Vorst Vanvorst has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikodim Kazimir.

Vanvorst drops Kazimir with a huge uppercut! Kazimir drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Vanvorst is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
