Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alistar Astyages (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manchild Warsaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alistar Astyages! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Manchild Warsaw! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Russell Pearce and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Warsaw tests Astyages's chin there with a solid looking shot. A telegraphed right hand from Warsaw misses the target. Warsaw tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Astyages was well out of range. Poor timing from Warsaw. Warsaw bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Warsaw just misses with a punch to the body.
Warsaw lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Astyages shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Warsaw sprawls well. Warsaw wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Astyages gets slowly back to his feet. Warsaw connects with a good right hand that stumbles Astyages. Astyages circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Warsaw cracks Astyages with a right hand to the side of the head. Astyages keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Warsaw. Nice defenses there by Warsaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warsaw throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Astyages stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Astyages fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Manchild Warsaw is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Astyages steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Warsaw. Warsaw gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Astyages drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Warsaw dives on top into guard. Warsaw trying to control the position from guard on top but Astyages is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Astyages looking for a sweep. Not yet Astyages, not yet. Astyages keeping moving, preventing Warsaw from controlling successfully. Astyages is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Warsaw defends well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warsaw looking to pass the guard. Astyages can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Warsaw controls the pace.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Manchild Warsaw wasn't active enough on the ground. Warsaw lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Astyages backs up against the cage.
Astyages lands with an uppercut that bounces Warsaw off the cage and back into rage. Warsaw avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Astyages uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Warsaw. Astyages misses with a wild body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Astyages shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Warsaw but Warsaw pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alistar Astyages. That's going to take a lot out of him. Warsaw lands with a good body shot. Warsaw misses with an uppercut. Astyages checks a low kick from Warsaw. Warsaw steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Astyages. Astyages shoots for a double leg takedown but Warsaw sprawls well. He's pushed Astyages's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Warsaw misses with a body shot

and Astyages counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Astyages looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Astyages tries to pass to full mount but Warsaw defends it. Astyages seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Warsaw does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Astyages is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Manchild Warsaw will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Warsaw is concentrating on defense, preventing Astyages from advancing position. Warsaw really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Astyages. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Warsaw keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Astyages passes to full mount! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Warsaw tries to hold on but Astyages postures up. Astyages sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Astyages wants to control the action but instead Warsaw gets a body lock and reverses into Astyages's guard! Nice work! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Astyages keeping full guard, as Warsaw tries to pass. Astyages wants to hit a switch here but Warsaw passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Astyages there! Warsaw takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Warsaw can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Astyages is looking to escape. Astyages sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Warsaw is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Astyages slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Astyages looking to control but Warsaw passes into half guard.
Astyages is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Warsaw's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Warsaw's back! Warsaw trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Astyages patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A close second round but Manchild Warsaw will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Warsaw keeping full guard, as Astyages tries to pass. Warsaw wants to sweep but no luck. Astyages engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Manchild Warsaw is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Alistar Astyages. Astyages digs a good hook to Warsaw's body.

and Warsaw connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Warsaw thuds a left hand into Astyages's body. Manchild Warsaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Astyages shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Astyages showed some decent athleticism there. Astyages is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Astyages seems to be looking for submissions.
