And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jason Turner!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Grant misses.
Grant will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Grant throws a hook but Turner blocks it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Grant. Turner does a little dance to reset his feet.
Grant throws a shot from downtown. Turner moves away and avoids it.

Grant throws a jab but it's blocked by Turner.
Jeff Grant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grant throws the left hand but Turner avoids the punch easily.

Turner is not content to let Grant control the position.
Grant is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Turner can do anything to dispel that myth.

Grant is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Turner throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Grant stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Turner throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Turner lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Turner.

Grant is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Turner has cracked Grant with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Turner lands another huge swinging hook and Grant tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Grant, before Turner can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jason Turner!
