Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marvin Hearns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aidan Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hearns comes to the cage accompanied by Prodigy - Firestarter. Aidan Marley struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hearns throws a right and a left that both miss.
No joy there for Hearns, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Marley uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hearns.
Hearns jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hearns throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Hearns clinches up with Marley and pushes him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hearns's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hearns throws out a loose jab but Marley uses good head movement to avoid it.
Marley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Marley counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Marley takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Marley is thwarting Hearns's attempts to control the position.

Hearns is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Marley scores with a couple of nice shots.

Hearns pushes Marley off looking to stand but Marley dives back in and keeps control.
Marley lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Hearns is breathing heavily.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Marley lands a nice short elbow.

Marley uses his free foot to push down on Hearns's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hearns.
Hearns tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Marley lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
BOOM! Marley connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Hearns is looking to improve his position but Marley isn't that keen on the idea.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hearns is working to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Marley fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Hearns counters with a straight right hand.
Hearns scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Hearns moves out of range of the leg kick from Marley.
Marley fails with the takedown
and Hearns counters with a crisp right that sends Marley to the canvas! Hearns follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
