Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jesse James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reginald Thornsby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thornsby has chosen "Promenade" by the London Phil Harmonic Orchestra as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Reginald Thornsby has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thornsby throws a right and a left that James avoids nicely.
James shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Thornsby manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Thornsby tries to land a sweep but no joy.
James slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Thornsby wants to stand and escape but James is having none of it.
James drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Thornsby dives on top into guard.
James working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Thornsby doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Thornsby manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Thornsby lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
