Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Bower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louis Amador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Amador has chosen Onyx - Shut 'Em Down as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hunter Bower!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Louis Amador!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Amador closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bower to the mat! Bower manages to get full guard.
Bower looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Amador stays in close to Bower's body and controls the position.
Amador wanted to stand there but Bower had control of the position.
Bower being controlled here, momentarily.
Amador trying to control but Bower is working from the bottom.
Amador is stalling in the full guard.
Bower keeping moving, preventing Amador from controlling successfully.
Amador stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bower swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bower knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Amador on the ground.

Amador is stalling in the full guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Louis Amador just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Amador throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Amador moves into the clinch.
Bower wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Amador ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Amador no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Amador wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Amador is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bower wants to sweep but Amador has passed to side control!

Amador might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bower kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Bower takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bower pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Amador shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Amador wants to stand but Bower is controlling his posture from full guard.
Amador connects with a couple of short punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bower is looking to improve his position.
Amador is figuring out what he wants to do next.
I looks like Amador might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Bower tries to get to full guard but Amador has control of the leg.

Amador wants to control but Bower is keeping him busy.
Well, if Amador is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Let's hope that Amador has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Bower has hold of Amador's hands but Amador slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Ground and pound from Amador.
Amador is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Amador works his way into side control.
Bower is trying to get back to half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Bower is trying to escape the position but Amador is controlling the position.

Amador stands up.

Bower misses with a double jab.
Bower just misses with a punch to the body.
Bower misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Amador moves into the clinch.
Amador wants a takedown.
Amador tries for a takedown but Bower manages to get underhooks.

Amador has hold of one of Bower's legs. Bower is fighting the takedown attempt but Amador gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Bower with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing Amador can't handle though.
Bower wants to sweep but no luck.
Bower on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bower tries to get out of the position.
Bower throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Bower wants to sweep here but Amador controlling him for the moment.
Amador is pushing down on Bower's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bower is fighting to maintain full guard but Amador has managed to sneak the leg through.
Amador slows the pace down in half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Amador decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Louis Amador dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Amador shoots in for a double leg but Bower sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Amador fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bower, pushing him back against the cage.

Bower is fighting off a takedown attempt but Amador is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bower to the mat. Bower regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Amador controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Bower tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Amador slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Amador is working Bower over with some ground and pound from side control.
Amador has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Amador landing strikes from the mount and Bower is in trouble!
Amador wants to control the pace but Bower is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Amador looking to control and managing it successfully.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Amador prevents Bower from getting the reversal.

Bower's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Amador is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Amador breaks from Bower's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Amador is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Amador cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


Bower is rocked!
Amador in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Oh Bower is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Amador cracks Bower with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Amador has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Amador tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Amador lands a big shot there that rocks Bower but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
