Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Jeremy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Tennant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jeremy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to GRAVEDIGGAZ - DIARY OF A MADMAN. Donnie Jeremy had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Tennant!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tennant scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Tennant doesn't manage to clinch there - Jeremy circles away.
Tennant tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jeremy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
David Tennant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tennant looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Jeremy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tennant avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Tennant escapes and gets back to his feet.

Jeremy tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Tennant counters by clinching up.
Tennant gets underhooks to prevent Jeremy's takedown attempt.
Jeremy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tennant is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jeremy is looking to stall here but Tennant recovers full guard.

David Tennant showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Tennant pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Donnie Jeremy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jeremy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Jeremy counters with a takedown into side control.

Jeremy decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Tennant pushes Jeremy up against the cage in a clinch.
Jeremy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tennant walks away with a smile on his face. Jeremy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Tennant closes the distance and pushes Jeremy back into the cage.

Jeremy gets control of Tennant's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jeremy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Tennant slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Jeremy can't keep his opponent in guard - Tennant advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Donnie Jeremy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tennant tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jeremy controls his leg.
Jeremy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Jeremy looking for submissions off his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jeremy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tennant pulls his head out easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
Donnie Jeremy showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Tennant has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
