Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Cola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddy Bravo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Greg Cola! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bravo is looking to clinch. Cola clinches. Cola pulls guard. Bravo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bravo trying to control the position from guard on top but Cola is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bravo being controlled here momentarily. Bravo controls from within his opponent's guard. Cola manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bravo tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo tries to lock up and control but Cola gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Cola tries to control but Bravo wriggling away. Cola misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Cola trying to control but he's not successful this time. Cola is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bravo is looking to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Cola lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cola jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bravo is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bravo and Cola has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Bravo is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Cola wants to control but Bravo is keeping him busy. Bravo is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Cola asserts his dominance and retains side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bravo is trying to improve his position. Bravo wants to control but Cola postures up. Cola wants to control but Bravo is keeping him busy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cola stands up and beckons Bravo to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cola clinches up with Bravo and pushes him back against the cage. Cola lands a nice shot to the body. Cola pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cola gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cola keeping full guard, as Bravo tries to pass. Bravo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Cola controls Bravo momentarily but Bravo frees himself. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cola wants to stand but Bravo is controlling the position. Bravo stopping the sweep attempt from Cola. Bravo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bravo is working hard here to advance position. Cola working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bravo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bravo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Cola really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bravo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cola keeping moving, preventing Bravo from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Eddy Bravo has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Bravo fails with a takedown attempt. Cola shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Cola seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cola is looking for a kimura but Bravo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cola to get the leverage. Bravo looking for submissions off his back. Bravo wants to improve his position but Cola is controlling well.
Bravo tries to kick Cola off but Cola keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Cola is keen to just control but Bravo is a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Cola slows the pace down in half guard. Cola looks to land a strike but Bravo avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Bravo pulls Cola in to control the position. Cola must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cola won't allow Bravo to get back to his feet. Cola landing with the ground and pound. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bravo tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Greg Cola showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Cola trying to control but Bravo is working from the bottom. Bravo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bravo wants to get back to his feet but Cola is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Cola wanted to stand there but Bravo had control of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Cola looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Greg Cola wasn't active enough on the ground. Cola gets a takedown into half guard. Cola is looking to stall here but Bravo recovers full guard. Bravo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bravo tries to land a sweep but no joy. Cola controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Bravo is trying to keep Cola in close.
Cola in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cola is looking to stand up but Bravo won't let him. Cola preventing the sweep. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cola drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bravo manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Bravo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cola is just riding it out for now. Bravo eventually gives up the hold. Cola is in trouble now - Bravo has advanced to mount!
And that's the end of the fight! Greg Cola comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Cola has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
