The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bearden throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tozi was covering up waiting for the punch and Bearden finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Tozi tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tozi working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Bearden has passed into half guard!
Bearden thows a huge punch but Tozi dodges it nicely.

Bearden looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tozi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tozi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tozi has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bearden doesn't defend quickly enough and Tozi has managed to lock this one up! Can Bearden escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Tozi on a fantastic submission victory.
