Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Hathaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dzmitry Pobzenhaus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pobzenhaus comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kavkaz Sila kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dzmitry Pobzenhaus!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hathaway closes the distance and clinches up with Pobzenhaus, looking for a takedown. Hathaway pushes Pobzenhaus against the cage but Pobzenhaus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hathaway tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pobzenhaus sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hathaway somewhat.
Pobzenhaus throws a big shot that misses.
Hathaway fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Hathaway. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pobzenhaus swats away the attempt to clinch by Hathaway.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hathaway fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Hathaway shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pobzenhaus but Pobzenhaus pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Pobzenhaus leaves Hathaway with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hathaway tries to close the distance and clinch but Pobzenhaus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dzmitry Pobzenhaus is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Horrible takedown by Hathaway or perhaps it was just good defense by Pobzenhaus which made him look bad.
Hathaway fails with an attempt to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hathaway looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hathaway on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Hathaway throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pobzenhaus's waist but Pobzenhaus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hathaway off to one side.

Hathaway moves in looking to clinch but Pobzenhaus pushes him off.
Pobzenhaus swats away the attempt to clinch by Hathaway.
Pobzenhaus cracks Hathaway with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hathaway looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Pobzenhaus finish him?
Hathaway is rocked!
Pobzenhaus throws the left hand but Hathaway avoids the punch easily.
Oh Hathaway is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pobzenhaus throws the left hand but Hathaway avoids the punch easily.
Hathaway seems to have got his legs back now.
Hathaway fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hathaway drops his hands momentarily. Pobzenhaus doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Hathaway staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Hathaway doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dzmitry Pobzenhaus!
