Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Northman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kong comes to the cage accompanied by Faint. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Kong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Northman! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kong with a poor takedown and Northman counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Northman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Northman throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Northman landing some decent shots from guard. Northman is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Northman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Northman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Northman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Northman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kong avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kong wants to sweep here but Northman controlling him for the moment. Northman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Northman is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Northman looking to pass the guard. Northman throwing strikes but missing. Northman preventing the sweep. Northman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kong is on top in guard.
Kong lands a couple of elbows. Kong with a flurry of punches that miss. Northman has momentary wrist control but Kong slips an elbow through the middle. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Northman can do anything to dispel that myth. Kong throws and elbow that misses. Northman uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kong's guard. Nice move by Northman!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kong is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Northman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Northman scoring with some ground and pound. Northman is in close to Kong's body, working some short punches and elbows. Kong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Northman is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Kong keeping full guard, as Northman tries to pass. Northman won't allow Kong to sweep him here. Kong utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kong wants to sweep here but Northman controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kong keeping moving, preventing Northman from controlling successfully. Kong is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Northman defends well. Kong has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Northman should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kong has tightened it up now! Northman should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
