PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lukas Svoboda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams has chosen Alice In Chains - Rooster as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Lukas Svoboda!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Randy Williams!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams tries to sprawl but Svoboda drives through with a takedown into half guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Williams is on top in guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Williams drops back, looking for a kneebar! Svoboda looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Svoboda looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Svoboda!

Williams got a little sloppy there for a moment and Svoboda has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Williams has managed to get both his arms back between Svoboda's legs - danger averted.

Svoboda has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Williams is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Svoboda.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well Williams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
