Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orton has chosen voices as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randy Orton! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orton misses with a kick to the body.
Orton fails with a takedown attempt. Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Orton shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Orton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Orton gets the takedown into side control. Orton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackson keeps working. Orton working the ground and pound but Jackson is defending the strikes. Jackson sneaks back into half guard. Orton is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Jackson reverses the position - he's now on top in Orton's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Orton can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson wants to stand but Orton has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Orton is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Orton looking for a sweep. Not yet Orton, not yet. Jackson wants to pass the guard but Orton is keeping the position. Orton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jackson advances position into side control! You can see the frustration on Orton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Orton is trying to get back to half guard. Orton trying to remain calm as Jackson controls from the top position. Orton is not content to let Jackson control the position. Orton is trying to get back to half guard. Orton looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Orton is looking to reverse the position. Jackson is looking to take a break and control but Orton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Orton tries to improve position but can't. Jackson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Orton's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Ryan Jackson just wasn't active enough. Orton tries for a takedown but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ryan Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Orton. Orton has a takedown stuffed. Jackson drives through with a takedown into guard. Jackson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Orton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jackson gets to his feet. Orton looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Jackson dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Orton with a poor takedown and Jackson counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Jackson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Orton is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Jackson to the mat. Jackson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jackson holds on and takes a little breather. Orton postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson wants to get back to his feet but Orton is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jackson working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Orton has passed into half guard!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jackson wants to get back to full guard.

Orton escapes and gets back to his feet. Orton tries for a takedown but Jackson circles away easily and Jackson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Orton's guard. Jackson looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Orton has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jackson won't allow Orton to sweep him here. Jackson's corner is telling him to maintain position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jackson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jackson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Orton counters with a straight right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ryan Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Orton. Orton gets caught flat footed, as Jackson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Orton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Orton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Orton is trying to keep Jackson in close.
Jackson is looking to work some ground and pound but Orton has wrist control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Jackson throws a sloppy body shot
and Orton counters with a shoot takedown. Jackson fights it but they end up in guard. Orton postures up in Jackson's guard and throws a big left but Jackson blocks it. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jackson holds on and takes a little breather. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ryan Jackson will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Orton fails with the takedown so Jackson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Jackson preventing the sweep. Ryan Jackson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jackson showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Orton pulls Jackson in close to prevent any damage. Jackson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Orton wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment. Orton is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fight stays on the outside here - Jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Orton gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jackson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Orton is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Orton is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Jackson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Orton is trying to control the position but Jackson postures up. Orton being controlled here, momentarily.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Randy Orton wasn't active enough on the ground. Orton fails with the takedown and Jackson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Orton's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson forces his way into half guard. Orton trying to hold on to Jackson's head to control him but Jackson postures up.
Jackson wants to free his trapped foot but Orton is holding on for dear life with his legs. Orton avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jackson. Jackson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Orton defending well though. Jackson trying to control the pace. Jackson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Orton does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Jackson stalling away here and it's allowed Orton to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Orton looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jackson looking to pass the guard. Orton lands a couple of shots from the bottom.

Randy Orton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ryan Jackson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jackson showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Jackson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jackson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
