Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rod Duarte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Yan Menezes!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duarte fails with an attempt to clinch.
No luck for Menezes with that takedown attempt.
Menezes keeps the fight on the outside.
Duarte feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Yan Menezes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Duarte stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Menezes swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Duarte wants to pass the guard but Menezes is keeping the position.
Menezes is pulling down on Duarte's head. It's preventing any offense from Duarte, at least for the moment.
Duarte wants to stand but Menezes is controlling his posture from full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Menezes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Duarte tries to avoid it but Menezes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Duarte to the ground. Duarte escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight!
Yan Menezes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Menezes has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
