Kumiko comes to the cage accompanied by Enter the Samurai. Kuro Kumiko could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Paul Sullivan's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kumiko takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kumiko displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sullivan.
Kumiko shoots and misses

and Sullivan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kumiko!
Kumiko is in all sorts of trouble here.
Sullivan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kumiko is looking to escape.

Sullivan looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Kumiko regains full guard. Nicely done.

Kumiko has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sullivan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kumiko.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Sullivan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kumiko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Sullivan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kumiko has escaped the position, nice work there.
Kumiko sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Sullivan is working for a kimura but Kumiko is defending it quite comfortably.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kumiko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sullivan is working away from the top position though.
Sullivan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Kumiko wants to control but Sullivan is keeping busy and won't allow it.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kumiko is looking to escape.
Kumiko is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sullivan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sullivan's back!
You can see the frustration on Sullivan's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Kumiko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sullivan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kumiko manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sullivan has Kumiko in his guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kuro Kumiko will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kumiko is not content to let Sullivan control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sullivan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kumiko defends it well.

Sullivan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Kumiko looking for a triangle here. Sullivan is fighting it but it looks tight! Kumiko pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Sullivan is tapping out - this one is all over!
