Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Ferreria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Durden! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Connor Ferreria! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Anthony Taglia and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Durden does no damage. Durden fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ferreria fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Some wild striking there from Durden.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Durden shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ferreria sprawls well. Ferreria wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Durden gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durden rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ferreria moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Durden fails to land with a series of punches.
Durden throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ferreria. Ferreria tries for a takedown but Durden sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Durden misses with a takedown attempt and Ferreria holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyler Durden. That's going to take a lot out of him. Durden is looking to break free of the clinch but Ferreria has double underhooks. Ferreria has Durden pressed against the cage, preventing Durden from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Ferreria jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Durden walks away with a smile on his face. Ferreria gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Durden throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ferreria counters with a leg kick. Durden throws the left hand but Ferreria avoids the punch easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ferreria shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Durden missing with a left hand there. Ferreria was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Durden misses with a double jab
and Ferreria counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Durden! Durden is trying desperately to improve position. Ferreria tries to control but Durden wriggling away. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Durden squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Durden holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Ferreria tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ferreria controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Connor Ferreria dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ferreria looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ferreria misses with a takedown attempt - Durden sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Durden throws a combination that misses and Ferreria makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Ferreria shoots in looking for a takedown but Durden manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ferreria's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Tyler Durden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Connor Ferreria. Durden throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ferreria counters by moving into the clinch. Ferreria jumps guard and drags Durden to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Durden stands up from guard. Let's bang! Durden misses with a combination
and Ferreria counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Durden's guard now. Durden might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Durden is looking to stand up but Ferreria isn't so interested in that idea. Durden is looking to sweep but instead, Ferreria has passed into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ferreria prevents Durden from standing back up.
Durden moves into full guard.
Durden knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ferreria on the ground. Ferreria won't allow Durden to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Durden wants to get back to his feet but Ferreria passes into half guard.
Ferreria stalling away here and it's allowed Durden to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Durden wants to stand but Ferreria is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Connor Ferreria showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Ferreria counters by clinching up. Ferreria has Durden pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Durden manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Durden is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Ferreria keeps control of Durden as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Durden pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Ferreria cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Durden swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Ferreria counter with a right hand. Durden throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ferreria counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Oooooh!!! Durden has knocked Ferreria down with a huge combo! Durden steps away and waves a wobbly Ferreria back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Connor Ferreria has been cut. Durden throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ferreria counters with a shoot takedown. Durden fights it but they end up in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Durden wants to stand and escape but Ferreria is having none of it. Ferreria trying to control but Durden is working from the bottom. Ferreria takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Durden is looking to stand up but Ferreria isn't so interested in that idea. Ferreria stands and steps away. Durden gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A right-left combo lands from Durden. A punch combination from Durden misses. Ferreria is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Durden tries to clinch up. Durden swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ferreria counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Durden tries to kick Ferreria off but Ferreria keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Durden on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Durden tries to get out of the position. Ferreria wants to control but Durden is keeping him busy. Ferreria is stalling here. Durden is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ferreria seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Durden has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Durden wants to stand but Ferreria has his arm trapped. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but Tyler Durden did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it. The cut man is working on Connor Ferreria's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ferreria drops down looking for an ankle pick but Durden pulls his leg out and moves away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Durden tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Durden working to try and regain half guard.

Durden is trying to stand but he's just given Ferreria his back. Ferreria trying to control momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Durden rolls, trying to escape but Ferreria keeps control of the position.
Durden controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ferreria wants to control but Durden manages to buck him off and is now in Ferreria's guard! Nice work there by Durden!
And that's the end of the fight! Connor Ferreria comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ferreria has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
