Knepp kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Amish Paradise. Jebidiah Knepp has the better chin. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jebidiah Knepp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Silvio Fattuso! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knepp throws a left that rocks Fattuso and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Knepp dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Fattuso regain composure!
Fattuso is rocked!
It looks like Silvio Fattuso has been cut. Fattuso is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Fattuso is still in real trouble! Can Knepp finish him? Fattuso has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Knepp is working away from the top position though. Knepp throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Fattuso seems to have recovered his senses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fattuso slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Fattuso pulls Knepp in close to his closed guard and prevents Knepp from doing any damage or advancing position. Knepp trying to control the position from guard on top but Fattuso is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Knepp is looking to work some ground and pound but Fattuso has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knepp tries to free his leg and advance position but Fattuso is retaining full guard. Knepp trying to control the position from guard on top but Fattuso is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Knepp scores with a jab. Fattuso acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Fattuso takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Fattuso walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Fattuso scores with a punch to the head. Fattuso on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Fattuso throws a combination that misses and Knepp counters with a lovely straight right hand! Knepp cracks Fattuso with a hook to the temple - Fattuso is on wobbly legs here! Knepp swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Fattuso falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Knepp wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jebidiah Knepp!
