Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sgt Parrotface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Chokespear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Sgt Parrotface!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, William Chokespear!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parrotface misses with a low kick as Chokespear jumps back.
Chokespear fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Parrotface avoids it really well and circles away.
Chokespear will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Chokespear slips under a jab from Parrotface.
Chokespear shoots in for a takedown but Parrotface shows good takedown defense.
Sgt Parrotface has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Chokespear.
Parrotface misses with a body shot.

Parrotface shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Parrotface was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Chokespear tries to hold on but Parrotface postures up.
Parrotface is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Chokespear can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Parrotface jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Chokespear manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Chokespear is not content to let Parrotface control the position.

Chokespear tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Parrotface misses with a head shot.

Parrotface jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Chokespear is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Chokespear and Parrotface has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Chokespear tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Parrotface wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Chokespear, who protects the arm well.
Parrotface wants to control but Chokespear is keeping him busy.

Chokespear manages to get back to half guard.

Parrotface seems to be working for a kimura but Chokespear defends the submission attempt.

Parrotface is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Parrotface not landing any meaningful shots this time.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Parrotface is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Parrotface is looking for a kimura here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Chokespear is not content to let Parrotface control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chokespear doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Parrotface counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Parrotface postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Chokespear is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Parrotface, into his guard.

Parrotface is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Chokespear in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Parrotface throws his legs up looking for a submission but Chokespear uses it to pass to side control.
Parrotface is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Chokespear's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Parrotface is defending against the submission attempts here by Chokespear.

Parrotface is looking to control Chokespear's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Parrotface avoid being mounted?

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Chokespear is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Parrotface is just riding it out for now. Chokespear eventually gives up the hold.

Sgt Parrotface is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Parrotface is looking for a sweep. Chokespear is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Chokespear wants to advance to full mount but Parrotface doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Parrotface is trying to keep Chokespear in close.
William Chokespear has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Chokespear postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Parrotface is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Chokespear, into his guard.

I would just about give that final round to William Chokespear.
Well Parrotface has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
