Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between ryan malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boxing Boran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boran throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
malone walks into a left hand.
malone shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boran as he avoids it easily.
malone throws a shot to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Boran misses the target.
malone shoots in but Boran avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Boran jabs malone to the body, keeping him at a distance.
malone uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Boran.

Boran fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and malone has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Boran stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Boran wants it to stay on the feet.

malone changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boran tries to avoid it but malone manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boran to the ground. Boran escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Boran cracks malone with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Boran lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and malone has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from malone and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
malone dives in and grabs Boran's left leg, looking for a takedown. Boran pushes down on malone's head and hops out.
Boran lands a nice shot to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
