Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Hayz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fritz Lukens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Hollywood Undead - Dead in Ditches. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Fritz Lukens enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dustin Hayz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fritz Lukens! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hayz gets the takedown into side control. Lukens is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Hayz is looking to take a break and control but Lukens is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hayz in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Lukens wants to control but Hayz postures up. Hayz landing strikes. Lukens struggling a bit here. Hayz working the head with strikes.
Lukens is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Lukens is still in real trouble! Can Hayz finish him? Lukens takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Hayz trying to control the action but Lukens is working from the bottom. Hayz goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Lukens has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hayz but great work by Lukens. Hayz manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Hayz seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Hayz is tying to control. Lukens wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Lukens looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Hayz slows the pace down in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hayz trying to control the action but Lukens is working from the bottom. Lukens seems to have recovered his senses. Lukens gets back to full guard.
Lukens is trying to control the position but Hayz postures up. Hayz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hayz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Lukens working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hayz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hayz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lukens looks gassed! Lukens looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hayz postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lukens has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hayz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hayz keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lukens's head. Hayz wants to control from the top but Lukens keeps moving. Hayz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lukens is keeping the position for now. Hayz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lukens manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Hayz works his foot free and advances to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lukens keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hayz trying to control but Lukens is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lukens taking shots to the head. Lukens wants to hold on but Hayz pushes him away. Lukens really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hayz working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Lukens turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Hayz off and cradles Lukens's limp body as Hayz celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Dustin Hayz!
