Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mikio Okita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Okita but Okita pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lewis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Okita defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Lewis.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lewis jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Okita manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Lewis swings around for an armbar but Okita sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lewis's guard.

Lewis throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Okita escapes and throws Lewis's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Mikio Okita has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Lewis.

Okita is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lewis can't fight it off and eventually Okita manages to take the fight to the floor. Lewis looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Okita drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Okita jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Okita wants to control from the top but Lewis keeps moving.
Lewis will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Okita is working to tighten is grip on Lewis's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lewis has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Okita is really squeezing tight and eventually Lewis passes out! Okita breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
