Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Montourski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beast Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rage has chosen I'm a Beast as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Stanley Montourski has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Stanley Montourski seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montourski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Montourski dives in and grabs Rage's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rage pushes down on Montourski's head and hops out.
The crowd cheers as Rage lands an impressive looking overhand right. Montourski doesn't seem phased though.
Rage waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Montourski.
Montourski ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rage moves away.
Rage moves out of range as Montourski strikes.
Montourski throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rage getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Rage uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Montourski.
Rage throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Montourski misses with a looping right.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rage. Montourski does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Rage counters with a straight right hand.

Montourski tries to sprawl but Rage drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Rage decides to stand up.
Montourski looks to land a combination but Rage avoids it well.
Rage throws out a powerful jab.
Rage lands a nice hook to Montourski's body. Montourski takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Montourski misses with a straight right.
Rage connects with a body shot.

Montourski scores with a takedown into Rage's guard.

Montourski drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rage dives on top into guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rage stands up and waves to Montourski to follow him.
Rage lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rage throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Montourski falls off balance throwing a combination

and Rage counters with a single leg into guard. Montourski didn't expect that.
Montourski looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Rage puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Rage prevents Montourski from improving his position.

Rage stands up out of the half guard.

Rage clinches up with Montourski and pushes him back against the cage.
Rage lands a body punch in the clinch.

Rage lands with a left to the head.

Montourski goes for a takedown attempt but Rage pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stanley Montourski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Montourski is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rage.

Montourski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rage throws a sloppy body shot
and Montourski cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Rage counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Rage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rage throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Rage is pressed up against the cage. Montourski has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rage down to the mat. Rage avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Montourski is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rage sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Montourski misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Rage counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rage gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Montourski throws a hook but Rage blocks it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rage throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Montourski on the side of the head.
Rage throws a good cross that connects.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Beast Rage dominated that round.
That's time! Montourski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Montourski moves away from the strike by Rage.
Montourski takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Rage lands a jab to the nose.
Montourski uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rage.
Rage catches Montourski with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Montourski is rocked!
Rage grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Montourski takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Rage cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
