Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Baran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ugbUK UBIU (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baran comes to the cage accompanied by Beach Boys - Barbara Ann . Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
UBIU moves forwards but Baran connects with a nice, crisp jab.
UBIU shoots in but Baran avoids the takedown attempt easily.
UBIU ducks under a wild hook from Baran.
Baran lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
UBIU has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from UBIU there as he acknowledges the shot.

Baran is trying desperately to improve position.
Baran sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. UBIU connects with a nice short shot to Baran's temple.
Baran is looking to control UBIU's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Baran avoid being mounted?

UBIU is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if UBIU can do anything to dispel that myth.
Baran slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

UBIU pushes Baran away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Baran gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
