Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aapo Mutenia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akiro Yakumacu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Aapo Mutenia has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Aapo Mutenia seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akiro Yakumacu!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Mutenia as Yakumacu shoots in.
Mutenia moves in looking to clinch but Yakumacu pushes him off.
Yakumacu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mutenia but Mutenia pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Yakumacu stuffs the takedown attempt from Mutenia. Mutenia gets slowly back to his feet.
Yakumacu feints and as Mutenia raises his hands in defense, Yakumacu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mutenia is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Mutenia tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Yakumacu working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Yakumacu is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Yakumacu won't allow Mutenia to sweep him here.
Yakumacu wants to pass the guard but Mutenia is keeping the position.

Mutenia wants to get back to his feet but Yakumacu is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Mutenia escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yakumacu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Yakumacu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yakumacu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Mutenia wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Yakumacu throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Yakumacu with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Yakumacu drops back looking for a leg! Mutenia is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mutenia manages to kick Yakumacu off! Yakumacu jumps back into Mutenia's guard.
Yakumacu throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mutenia works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mutenia will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mutenia controls Yakumacu momentarily but Yakumacu frees himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mutenia wants to improve his position but Yakumacu is controlling well.

Yakumacu seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Mutenia is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
