Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Coach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucas Shields!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Coach!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coach scores with a nice body kick.
Coach wants to clinch up but Shields keeps it at a distance.
Coach throws the left hand but Shields avoids the punch easily.
Shields changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Coach tries to avoid it but Shields manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Coach to the ground. Coach escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Coach lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Coach rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shields moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Shields fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Coach sprawls well initially but Shields persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
