Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arnaud Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Knuckles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is BLUNT- "The Iron Maiden". Knuckles is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: When I'm Gone. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knuckles swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Knuckles jabs Savage to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Savage avoids the body shot from Knuckles.
A lazy left from Knuckles finds it's target.
Savage shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Knuckles sprawls well. Knuckles wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Savage gets slowly back to his feet.
Knuckles takes a swing at Savage's ribcage but misses.
Nate Knuckles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Savage avoids the body shot from Knuckles.
A looping hook to the body misses from Knuckles. Savage does a little dance to reset his feet.
Savage shoots in for a double leg but Knuckles sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Knuckles throws a hook but Savage avoids it easily.
Savage closes the distance and clinches up with Knuckles, looking for a takedown. Savage pushes Knuckles against the cage but Knuckles circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Knuckles throws a right hand that Savage ducks under and follows up with a left that Savage also avoids with ease.
Savage fails with the takedown.
Knuckles throws the left hand but Savage avoids the punch easily.
Savage misses with a takedown attempt - Knuckles sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Knuckles throws a right and a left that Savage avoids nicely.

Knuckles looks to land a right hand but Savage moved out of range.
Knuckles throws out a loose jab but Savage uses good head movement to avoid it.
A punch lands to the side of Savage 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Knuckles misses the shot to the body.
Knuckles misses with a hook.
Knuckles throws a leg kick
and Savage makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Savage.
Knuckles thows a body shot but no joy.
Knuckles throws a looping overhand right but Savage ducks down to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Savage seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Knuckles is holding on tight.
Savage looking to control but Knuckles is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Knuckles squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Savage working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Savage is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Knuckles has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Knuckles!
Knuckles won't allow Savage to sweep him here.

Knuckles drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Knuckles jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Knuckles wants to pass the guard but Savage is keeping the position.

Savage has control of Knuckles's left arm, preventing Knuckles from doing any damage.

Savage is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Savage trying to control from half guard but Knuckles is working away.
Savage passes the guard and advances to mount!

Savage goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Knuckles turns into him and now he's in Savage's guard.

Savage looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Knuckles is defending well. Savage quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Knuckles has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Savage celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
